The Marco Polo Project

The Gallery

Welcome to page two of the Marco Polo Gallery. We hope to keep adding to this collection so if you know of any original art work of the ship not on display here, we would appreciate hearing from you. Drop us a line at the Marco Polo Project.

Here is an actual painting removed from the Marco Polo when she went down off PEI. The painting was salvaged of the ship in 1873 .The painting looks to be on tin with a woodframe. Any help in identifying this painting would be greatly appreciated.

A black and white of the gentleman who recovered it. Because this picture is considered a family heirloom the family has ask that there name and address not be published.

This pic is of a painting by A. Chidley and submitted to us by Mr. Bill Gough.
