 Clippers: Beejapore, Marco Polo & Sydney Harbour ferry - South
Steyne, a rare find! Here is an actual photo of the Marco Polo submit by Greg
Rogers from Australia who came across the photo while reserching his family
tree. The original photo is held by the Queensland Library. The photo below
recently recovered from the Library is the Marco Polo in a stand alone
photo. |

 Here is an actual painting removed from
the Marco Polo when she went down off PEI. The painting was salvaged of the
ship in 1873 .The painting looks to be on tin with a woodframe. Any help in
identifying this painting would be greatly appreciated.

recovered it. Because this picture is considered a family heirloom the family
has ask that there name and address not be published.

 A large original painting of the Marco Polo in the State Library of
Melbourne painted in the 1850`s & is of excellent quality. Sent to us from

 An early Christmas gift
received from the friendly folks at Sobey's on the west side during the
Mayor's Breakfast. The event is the official opening of the new Sobeys, West
Saint John just after the Mayors breakfast. In the photo above is, councillor
Peter McGuire on the far left, with Jason Potter of Sobeys HQ next, Tim Barton
the manager, Mayor Ivan Court, Barry Ogden standing along side the Mayor, and
Jana Sobey, marketing manager. We also unveiled a 20' x10' mural of the Marco
