Due to the overwhelming success of our guest book we had to make new space for many entries. We did not wish to offend anyone who has taken the time to submit their comments so we chose to create an archive file, keeping the entries fresh from year to year. Below are the letters from 1998.
I was born and raised in Sackville and moved to Delaware in 1986. I miss
the area tremendously and hope to return for a visit before 2000. Hi to all New
Brunswickers and the friends I left behind.

I grew up in Moncton, graduated from Harrison Trimble HS in 1980, and
ended up a long way from the Maritimes. I graduated from Mt. Allison in 1984
& 1986 and then moved to the states (Virginia)to do my graduate work. I
moved over the years from Virginia - Georgia - Miami, FL - Orlando, FL as a
result of my job in Human Resources and Corporate Recruiting. I moved to TX in
August 1997 to work at the University of Texas at Austin in the School of
Business. I miss the changing of the leaves and the snow at XMAS ONLY but not
any other itme of the year. If anyone has any questions about life in the

I am looking for a gunsmith, located in the southern half of your
province. Sorry, no name or exact city. He handles used rifles and parts,
especially Winchester. I am desperately tring to find either a complete bolt
assemblly or parts to repair a Model 69A Winchester rifle.
This gentleman's
name was mentioned on the Canadian-Firearm_Chat Web Site. I think the city
might have been Sackville...
We visit Mount Allision University about
once a month and I would really like to track this gunsmith down!

I really enjoyed visiting this site. I think it is real pretty. However,
I was very disappointed to see that, when I clicked to visit "Moncton", someone
had not spelled the word "french" correctly. Please have someone correct that
as soon as possible. It should be "français" and NOT "francois"!
kimiki
- Friday, December 11, 1998 at 21:52:20 (CST)
Hi Kimiki just got your note so I thought I'd respond. The reason why
the spelling was incorrect was due to the program we used to create the gif. It
was not capable of reproducing the symbols needed for the proper spelling. We
have since then updated the program to compensate for this. We really
appreciate the help you have given by spotting this error on our part. It was
not our intent to offend anyone. The corrections have been made and if you spot
any other misprints on our sites please bring it to our attention. We are a
non-funded site and we can use all the help we can get!
Thanks again....

does color usually peak in September (3rd or 4th week) or in October? Also,
where in NB do you find the best color for photos? Any other location
suggestions for a photographer's first trip to NB?

I enjoyed my electronic visit to you excellent web site, your beautiful
province, and especially the photos of Sussex's Atlantic Balloon Fiesta. This
is the home of the "Big One," the Kodak Albuquerque International Balloon
Fiesta, (873 balloons in 98!), but the child in all of us loves balloons, the
number really doesn't matter. The Canadian Maple Leaf Balloon is my personal
favorite, my slide of it at our fiesta in 1996 won this photographer an
unforgetable trip to your country's gorgeous Rockies, Calgary, Banff, Lake
Louise...exquisite! Y'all have a good one, ay!

Hello, I have recently visited New Brunswick and was very impressed by
the hospitality. Your province should experience widespread growth, if your
provincial government works in conjunction with all your local municipalities,
to encourage economic developement through business and tourism. The reason why
I say this is because most people east of Montreal hardly knows N.B. exists.
All we hear about west of Montreal is Nova Scotia just like the world revolves
around Halifax. So I would strongly encourage all New Brunswickers to stand
tall and move forward and show the rest of canada that you exist. The company
that I work for was so impressed when we visited this summer, that we have
decided to stage new Tradeshows & Exhibitions in your province. So please,
if anyone has any suggestions as to what type of tradeshows or exhibitions that
you would like to see come to your city please e-mail us your ideas.

I am very upset, that there is nothing about the Reversing Falls except
about the power boat ride. There is a lot of history around these falls, so why
does anyone tell it. I feel by telling some of these stories, that it will make
the city just as unique as ever. No knows whats at the botton or how these
falls came to be. There must be a history here, or no one would ride the falls
the way they do. So, if anyone could enlighten me, e-mail directly.

wonderful province someday. We both believe our children's lives would be

enchanting. I am having trouble finding any websites that may have employment

More and more people tell me about their visit to New Brunswick, how special it
was meeting its welcoming residents and how spectacular the scenery was. They
find it hard to find the words to describe that lingering, full feeling. I know

My husband and I plan to visit New Brunswick next summer, toward the end
of June. Can someone tell me what the weather is likely to be in June on the
coast? Warm enough for swimming? We will be camping (trailer) with two
well-behaved dogs. Can anyone recommend campsites. We like to take our
vacations early in the season when campgrounds and tourist attractions are not
crowded. It may seem early, but planning is part of the fun!
Thanks,
Phyllis

A friend of mind sent me the site , so I checked it out, very
fascinating pictures and places to go, I love to read sites of this stature,
they are always interesting, although the farthest I been in Canada has been
Niagra Falls, and thats a wonderful place to visit, a little high in the prices
of things but, who thinking about money when you are on vacation, Keep up the
goodwork with your web site, and I will pass it on to some of my friends.C Ya,
BT Express aka. jumpshot Visit my web site, just a personal site, with some
sports places to go, but there you can send me a voice message free of charge
and you also can get your pc scanned for viruses free, with nothing to
download, and thats located on page to, by clicking on more BT, the page is
still under construction, but I'm adding things every week or so.
