03/07/02 I was born in Flatlands and as a youngster, my mother use to talk about a homicide that happened in or near Campbellton, I believed called Rabbit Town or Little Montreal. I am not certain. It happened sometime in the early 40s and involved a soldier who was hitchhiking. Anyone knowing any thing about it would you please let me know. 25/05/02 Hello, This is Bobbie Shelton a.k.a. Barbara Anne Guitard. My parents were Llloyd Guitard and Millie Arsenault. For those who knew them or are relateded to them, they were they best parents in the world. They died when I was young , Millie in 1970 and Lloyd in 1997. All the kids-5 of us- stay in touch and reminess what we can. I am now married and have fond memories of their home towns, my Granfathers Barber Shop- he was known as Joe,and the Sugarloaf Mountain.(thats in Atholville, right?) She was the daughter of Timothy Titus Davenport, and married Archie Tompkins in Fredericton on Dec. 12, 1894. They moved to Alberta, where she died in 1905 or 1906. She entered the colonies in May 1831 Son, James, age 26 at time of Census, also entered colonies in May, 1831. No record of her husband. Youngest child, Catherine, born around 1839. Also, records show she also had a young child, Margaret Bridget, who would be around a year old who entered the colonies same date. Appreciate any information on this family.
