Site list is alphabetical, Cities and Towns first, then general areas. The top row divides the sections into three pages to avoid interminable scrolling. The second tier lists the individual areas found on that page. The clickable table below saves scrolling. Left click on the Region/City/Town name at the start of the Message area to come back to the top. More areas can be added if the need arises. Don't forget we have a chat site; you can leave messages to meet distant friends for a conversation. As of today (thanks to a suggestion by one of our readers), all new messages will be dated. The method of dating will be day/month/year, i.e. 04/01/99; the date appears at the first of each message.

10/13/08 I am trying to locate a potter from the maritimes, whom I believe is from New Brunswick, possibly near the Bay Of Fundy. A few years a go while visiting the maritimes , our family bought two cream coloured coffee mugs that have a beautiful embossed design on them. They are our families favourite mugs. I actually purchased them from a giftware store on Cape Breton Island, but on the bottom of the mugs there is a signature I can't read and the letters N.B. I believe I saw the same artist a year before at an artist cooperative near the Bay of Fundy provincial park. Could anyone help me find a name and phone number of a this potter whose work is cream coloured and had embossed designs? I'd really love to contact the potter to order more of her/his work. Thanks for any assistance. Email:yanakyn@distributel.net

08/12/08 Hi, I am looking for relatives of my father who was adopted out. He thinks his real last name was "Harding". He was in an orphanage in New Brunswick until he was about 5-6 yrs. old. They "guesstimated" his birth age around 1939 and let him "pick" his birth date of May,19th because they didn't know his real birthdate. He remembers a shabby cabin near a river and being force fed fish before he was brought to the orphanage. He remembers a lady by the name of Mrs. Cole from the orphanage. He was adopted by the "Sampson" family and moved to Northern Ontario. If anyone has any info on this I would love to know, please email me, his daughter!
