01/06/13 Langley RCMP is asking for the public's assistance to locate the family of Russell Edward KING. Mr. KING passed away in August of 2003. He chose to be cremated.
In February of this year, a representative of a funeral and cremation service attended the Aldergrove Community Police Office with the ashes of Mr. KING that had been shipped to him from Vanderhoof RCMP. The ashes were accompanied by a letter advising that the ashes had been recovered on the banks of the Nechako River and attempts to locate the next-of-kin had not been successful.
By law, the agency is not permitted to accept the ashes so they brought them to police. Investigators have attempted to find information about Mr. KING and locate his family, however given the amount of time that has passed; they have not been successful as many records have been destroyed. Police believe he had a common-law spouse by the name of Helen GLASS, whom they have been unable to locate.
In his lifetime, Mr. KING was employed as a tradesman with the Longshoreman. He was born on March 4th of 1941 in New Brunswick and passed away in Langley. His parent's names were William KING and Ethel DOTHWRIGHT.
At this time, police have exhausted the investigational possibilities and are seeking the public's assistance to locate Russell KING's family. If you have any information that would assist police with this investigation, please call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.

30/05/13 As a summer resident of Lockeport NS, I became dependent upon the cuisine at the Parrots Pins. Proprietors have now relocated to Fredericton. I'd like to cross on the digby ferry, but I'd prefer a boat ride to Fredricton rather than driving north from St John. Is this a possibility? The river looks very navigable in Fredericton but what about in between? Email: phebe_b@yahoo.com

06/09/13 Hey there, My husband and I are planning on relocating from Toronto to St. Andrew's. We're looking to leave the hustle, the crazy cost of living and attitude! I'm looking for help however to network. I'm a Nutritionist and Acupuncturist and while the majority of my business is online (online programs, products and Skype consultations), I am looking to network with others to see what the alternative health industry is like there. I'd love to offer help to the community on a part-time basis either working with other practitioners or on my own. If anyone has any tips on who I could speak to, or share if there's a need for my in-person services that would be great. I'd love to offer a community day where my services would help others at a reduced rate once a week. I look forward to hearing from you! Email: melissa@sexyfoodtherapy.com

23/10/13 I'm a 51 year-old single male who is seriously considering re-locating to St. Stephen, NB. I moved from Ontario to Cape Breton almost 4 years ago and have been mostly treated like a leper since arriving here. Dating a local female caused nothing but trouble between her and her family members -- all of whom resented anything new or different. Some of the more kindly people I have met here sympathetically say my status of being "CFA", single, nice-looking and independently-employed are red flags for the mostly-insecure & xenophobic local gentry -- most of whom are more concerned with who someone is related to, not what they do with their time or how they treat others. I was wondering how St. Stephen locals view single newcomers who would like to settle into a new community peacefully and start a new phase of their lives. Email: sebastian.in.902@gmail.com

15/02/13 Looking for my mothers brother Robert Boyd, son of William and Marjorie Boyd, would love to hear from him. Marcie Whisnant Conner Email: mwa1986@yahoo.com
