Site list is alphabetical, Cities and Towns first, then general areas. The top row divides the sections into three pages to avoid interminable scrolling. The second tier lists the individual areas found on that page. The clickable table below saves scrolling. Left click on the Region/City/Town name at the start of the Message area to come back to the top. More areas can be added if the need arises. Don't forget we have a chat site; you can leave messages to meet distant friends for a conversation. As of today (thanks to a suggestion by one of our readers), all new messages will be dated. The method of dating will be day/month/year, i.e. 04/01/99; the date appears at the first of each message.

22/05/12 Hi folks my name is Tom. I used to live in Hammondvale in the early to mid 70's. I recall the time when my family would travel to Saint John on hwy 111 and we'd cross the bridge at Hanford Brook. Well that bridge is an army Bailey bridge. The military still uses them from time to time. I remember (the story I was told) that the bridge was built after some army vehicles went over and the bridge was damaged or it had collapsed. After going on Goggle Earth I saw that the bridge was replaced with a modern two lane affair. The ground route shows the two bridges still there with the new one still under construction the sky view shows just the new bridge. Anyway, my questions to anyone who could answer them are; 1, what actually happened at that bridge site for the Army to build a Bailey bridge? 2, what did they do with the old bridge (The Bailey Bridge)? My guess is the bridge was built in the late 60's or early 70's Email: tscole@mymts.net
