Site list is alphabetical, Cities and Towns first, then general areas. The top row divides the sections into three pages to avoid interminable scrolling. The second tier lists the individual areas found on that page. The clickable table below saves scrolling. Left click on the Region/City/Town name at the start of the Message area to come back to the top. More areas can be added if the need arises. Don't forget we have a chat site; you can leave messages to meet distant friends for a conversation. As of today (thanks to a suggestion by one of our readers), all new messages will be dated. The method of dating will be day/month/year, i.e. 04/01/99; the date appears at the first of each message.

I am from the USA and have a passion for knowing more about my dad's family. Thank you for any help. Email: joan.ritchotte@gmail.com 26/08/10 I am looking for my birth family and medical history. I was born on New Year's Eve 1952 to a petite woman with blue eyes and brown hair and weighed around 115-120 lbs. She was married with 3 small children and had an affair while her husband was away working. She helped her mother at home and therefore did not complete her education. My birth mother's husband encouraged her to give me up to keep their family intact. My birth father was married and had 1 son at the time of my birth(a toddler). It is said that his wife did not know about the pregnancy. My birth mother's father died before I was born of a stroke or heart attack. I have recently had health issues and want my family to know their medical history and I would like closure. I grew up in a small community where rumours were wild and so far all the information that the NB government has provided has put a lot of the rumours to rest but I still would like to know the facts. I have been told that my birth mother can not be located in New Brunswick or her children. The researchers can't find her in Canada apparently. She has sibblings in the New Brunswick area that are still living and my birth father passed away over a decade ago. If any of this sounds familiar could you please email me at lorraineandfreddy@yahoo.ca. Thank you. Some of my ancestors left Ireland and appear to have gone to New Brunswick in the 1800/1900's. The first is Rev James Bernard Dollard. He sailed to New Brunswick in 1890. He wrote many poems/short stories which feature in a book called 'Canadian Poets'. Appears to be famous for this from what i can see on the internet. His brother is Reverand William Dollard and as far as i know he was the first Bishop of the Diocese of Saint John. I also believe that he was parish priest of St Stephen?? Their uncle, Rev James Quinn, was vicar general of the diocese of Saint John. This is all the information I have on these people. If anyone can help me in any way i would be very greatful. Any kind of information that could help me track their life/achievements. date of death, where they are buried or other members of family that may have followed them. Anything really!! Thank you!!
