Located in South Knowlesville on 400 acres of forest and farmland, the centre aims to show it is possible to live more lightly on our environment while contributing to the local economy. Falls Brook Centre demonstrates sustainable practices through solar and wind energy systems, organic gardens, orchards, non-timber forest product plantings, and promotion of ecological certifica t ion. Other on-site activities include a small conference centre, herbariums, forest trails, and tree nurseries.
