Fish Chowder


  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion, fine chopped
  • 1 stalk celery fine chopped
  • 1 potato diced
  • 1½ cup fish stock or water
  • 1 lb chowder mix
  • 1 pt coffee creamer mixed with a ¼ cup flour
  • Salt to taste and plenty of pepper


Melt butter in sauce pan add onions & celery, simmer until soft. Add fish stock or water and diced potato. Cover and simmer until potato is just tender. Add fish pieces and boil for another 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add cream & flour mixture, and heat over medium heat for about 7 minutes. Reheats well.
