Brown Bread with
Molasses

Ingredients:
- 1 cup bread flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup molasses
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
Method:
In large bowl, stir together bread flour, whole wheat flour,
cornmeal, baking soda. Stir in molasses and water; mix until combined. Pour
batter into two lightly greased coffee cans, fill about 2/3 full. Place
loaves into a steamer, cover and steam over low heat. Steam for 1 hour and 45
minutes, until loaves are set.
