The Fundy Trail now
officially opened, has walkers thronging to the new route stretching from St.
Martins to Big Salmon River and stepping off the beaten track. And why not? The
views are truly awesome. Below are just a few of the breath taking scenes
you'll encounter on your trek through the Fundy Trail.

Clear water trickles over multicoloured rocks.

The Hachey family -
dad Gary (wearing a ball cap), Kara, Krystal, Candice and mom Lynn - walk along
the trail with RCMP Const. Allen Englebert (left).

This elegant foot
bridge going over the big Salmon River is sure to be a favourite feature of
everyone but those with vertigo. But if sandy shorelines are more to your
liking than keep going your bound to find what you seek.

A wooden walk down to a rocky shore!

A special interpretation centre will help strollers
appreciate the natural attributes of the Fundy area.
